We wanted to tell you a little bit of how our pet care company came into being. Several years ago, we left town for a business trip. Because we were the owners of two beautiful German Shepherds, we had to take the time to get the dogs established at a nearby kennel. A close friend had recommended the kennel to us, but we had also done our digging and everything that we’d turned up had seemed to be good. We felt a little bit unsettled as we shook out our dogs’ beds on the cold cement floor of their chain link closet and listened to the continuous barking from the dogs nearby. While this would certainly be a new experience, we felt that our beloved pets would be able to adapt quickly and be okay until we got back into town.
As soon as the plane landed after our trip, we went to the kennel to get the dogs. What we found when we walked in was horrifying – our furry little children were ridden with fleas, were dirty, nervous and hoarse from barking without ceasing. As soon as we got home, we gave them a thorough bath. Afterwards, they curled up in the comfort of their own dog beds and slept for two straight days. This was when we decided that we had to take matters into our own hands.
Knowing that our dogs, as well as most likely the dogs of many other people, would feel more peaceful and safe when they are able to remain at home when their parents go out of town, we started Frisco Pet Sitter services.
Not every kennel is as bad as the one that we used. However, it’s an obvious fact that even the best kennels are unreasonable expensive and don’t offer the comforts that your pets would prefer and that they get in their own home.
Clients tell us all the time that they are surprised at how happy and relaxed their pets are after they get back home after a separation. As well as offering pet sitter and house watching services, we also offer dog walking services. We are bonded, professional, experienced and completely dedicated to giving your pets the best care possible.
